2009 Tucker Pinot Noir

2010 Pinot Noir Reserve

This 2010 Tucker Reserve Pinot Noir was produced from small select lots in the Southern Santa Cruz Mountains near the small town of Corralitos. Corralitos is situated approxamately 5 miles inland from the Monterey Bay and subsequently gets the cool coastal fog that rolls in in the evenings but burns off in the afternoon to warm sunshine to ripen these Pinot grapes.

This highly sought after Southern Santa Cruz mountain appellation produce some of the most intriguing Pinot Noirs in the region. Fruit profiles tend to be a little less acidic than its Northern counterparts, yet constitute beautiful balance between elegant fruit, balanced acidity, and soft sweet tannins.

The 2010 Reserve Pinot Noir, with its crimson-cranberry color, exhibits focused complexity of bright juicy sweet dried strawberry, forest floor, and a hint of black pepper which greet your senses and palate while transitionong into a semlessly long finish.

The wine was aged in 100% Burgundy-styled French oak, 100% new for 20 months.
