The grapes used in this powerful Cabernet Franc come from vineyards atop Pritchard Hill on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley. Some of the most prestigious wines of Napa Valley come from vineyards located there. Grapes grown here endure extremely harsh weather and soil conditions that translate into complex sophisticated wines.
This unique wine, framed by rich French oak and classic sweet age worthy tannins, exhibits characteristics of a lavender and violet bouquet followed by black currant, black raspberry, dark cherry and cassis with a hint of leather and mint. The wines power, grace and persistence are hard to compare. This wine drinks beautifully now but will age gracefully for many years to come.
